It's amazing how long an exposure you can take. I'm envious of your dark skies. Cherry Springs... isn't that the default clock for cleardarksky.com? And autoguiding with a SBIG STV on a LX200; oh, I'm jealous.

It would be interesting to work with film, except I have neither a guidescope nor the polar alignment techniques needed for longer exposures. (Anyway I pretty much reach the sky fog limit after 45 seconds (at ISO 1600 equivalent))
